下雨天，只能躲進博物館裡，然後去泡泡溫泉。

 

布達佩斯美術館(Museum of Fine Arts)建於1900-1906年間，新古典主義風格。參觀歐洲的博物館除了瀏覽展品，建築本身也常常是焦點。

美術館聽說最近這兩三年(2015-2018年)閉館整修中，我是2008年去的。館內也有許多古埃及藝術品。

古典繪畫收藏絕不會讓人失望，包括不少格雷考(El Greco, 1541~1614)和其他西班牙藝術家作品。這可能和哈布斯堡家族的統治有關，這個佔據匈牙利王國國王大位將近400年的家族，也曾任西班牙國王約200年。館內其他如義大利、荷蘭的精品也不少。
